The Men of the Mountains is an ongoing portraits series that showcases Saudi men who are living in the mountainous side of Saudi Arabia, the Asir Province. A tribal trait that was and still is passed down through generations is their aromatic floral headband, made out of herbs and flowers. These headbands highlight their heritage that they hold dear and wear it with honor, as well as serving a medicinal purpose; some say that the floral headbands are worn to protect from the heat of the sun. Most of these men are farmers, guardians of the mountains, and tourist guides.
